Born on March 1, 1988 in Rochester, MN, Alexander Ou, aka Lil Crazed, is a 19 year old young hip hop artist. He began writing at the age of 14, which was inspired by poetry he wrote in Junior High. He started writing poems the day of 9/11. His very first poem was written in dedication for the people in the 9/11 terrorists attack. The poem was featured on the Good Morning America show, in a local newspaper, on a local radio station, and was recited in multiple schools around his hometown of Rochester, MN.

He began writing more poems that lead to rapping after realizing such a commotion being brought upon his work of art. He started out very rough as a rapper, mainly because he was Asian. No one took him seriously, not even his close friends. Though the dream was so big and the motivation was so high, he kept at it.

He came out with two albums of his own: one entitled, 'Lyrical Mentality,' and his sophomore album entitled, 'One Step Closer.' He made a few hundred dollars in selling these albums to his friends and on the streets. As his popularity grew, also did his skills.

He started gaining fans over the Internet. But it was when he made a Myspace page that his music blew up. Within a year of being a member of Myspace, Crazed became a top unsigned artist in the categories of Hip Hop, Rap, and R&B in Minnesota. After a couple more months, he became one of the top unsigned artists in Minnesota in all genres of music.

Because of personal reasons with family and also the determination to further his career, he moved down south to the state of Texas. He saw how big Houston was becoming in the hip hop industry. Within the first week of moving to Texas, he became a top unsigned artist in Texas. Crazed then found out he was one of the top unsigned artists in the world in the Hip Hop, Rap, and R&B categories, according to Myspace. His highest rank at 20 in all three categories definitely pleased Crazed. He was getting an average of 3,000 plays a day and even peaked at over 10,000 plays in one day.

This recognition directed a lot of people to his page and within a month, he received a gig to perform for a grand opening of a new store called The Urban Zone in Sharpstown Mall in Houston. A couple months later, he performed for a grand opening of a new downtown night club in Houston called Heat. History in the making and also the future in the making, Crazed is determined to take over the hip hop game and make a great impact. 'Don't follow your dreams, lead them,' is the motto of Crazed. He originally wrote it for his senior quote in high school, but will always be using it throughout his entire life.
